The app

A teaching you can interrupt

The Zendaily app icon

Not a relaxation track. A teaching.

Each session takes up one thing — anger, being hard on yourself, a mind that will not settle — and looks at it the way the Buddhist traditions do: not to get rid of it, but to see what it is made of and where it sits. Partway through, you stop thinking about it and sit with it.

And you can raise your hand. At the moment something actually shows up, you interrupt, say what is happening, and get an answer about that — then the teaching carries on where it left off.

It runs in your browser. Nothing to install, no account needed to listen.

🧘 Five teachings

Settling · When anger rises · A little kindness · When the mind will not settle · The posture. Eight to twelve minutes each, spoken aloud, each with sitting practice inside it. Written in the style of the Forest tradition — investigation rather than instruction, and never a doctrine to accept.

✋ Interrupt the teaching

The whole point. Ask what you actually want to ask, at the moment it comes up — the way you would with a teacher in the room. Three questions a day with a free account; the teachings themselves stay open to everyone, always.

📓 A notebook that stays put

What you write after a session is stored on your own device. Not on a server, not in a profile, not sold to anyone. You can delete it in one tap.

What it does not do

No ads. No streak counter, no badges, no nudging you back.

No tracking without your say-so — you are asked before anything is measured, and “no thanks” is a real answer.

No account required to sit down. Signing in only unlocks talking to the teacher.

On your phone

The browser version works on a phone today — open it, and add it to your home screen if you want it one tap away. The Android app is being prepared; it is not on the Play Store yet, and we would rather say so than show you a button that goes nowhere.
